  1. Hey! I hope you're doing well! I'm back with another video! Let's paint the moon with watercolors and chat about how to deal with frustration and the perfectionism as an artist or someone who just simply want to learn how to paint with watercolors! Comment below, what your biggest take away was and if you're dealing with something similar or something else! Let's help each other out!

  2. Love this video! Thank you for sharing your thoughts about letting go of perfection and expectation to enjoy the play of watercolor art! It was very interesting to see how you move around the color and water on the paper. So helpful! Good luck with your book process. Looking forward to buying it! Do you paint birds? I would like help painting birds in motion that are playful and beautiful but not perfect like scientific drawing. Thank you for all your videos!

  3. Is there a paper that is better than Arches? I've tried Arches many times; but, for me it is no better than Strathmore 400 series paper. Arches is supposed to be 100% cotton. Strathmore 400 is less expensive. I've tried Kilimanjaro and it is even worse.

  4. That brand of paint worked wonderfully in creating the moon's texture πŸ™‚

  5. The worst art block is the lack of time. I have two kids that occupy 90% of my time, the rest is work, house chores and daily needs. It tough, sometimes I feel like crap because I feel like a rag doll, everybody just pulling on me, but hubby is next to me to lend a helping hand and remind me that time runs out so fast and we'll be alone soon. Kids are meant to fly, and they soon will. And we will be crushed, but we'll have to let the go. So, even though time is not my friend right now, I will look back and wish I had more time with my kids, I'm gonna wish they stayed young for a longer time. Art can wait.
