RCEP deal likely to be signed next year, after 15 countries reach draft agreement


the world’s biggest trade pact is set to
be signed next year as leaders from 15 Asian countries including India agreed
to seal the deal after seven years of negotiations a draft agreement on the
regional comprehensive economic partnership was reached late Monday
night during a summit in Bangkok despite a freeze by India amid domestic
opposition China says the rest of the partner countries decided to move ahead
regardless and that India is welcome to join the initiative later China led
